Turkey has also announced the provision of aid to Pakistan in response to the country’s recent flood catastrophes. In a phone call to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reportedly conveyed his best wishes for the country’s recovery from the recent floods. The statement was made public by the Turkish Communication Directorate (TCD). The President of Turkey stated that despite the challenges that are now being faced, the wonderful people of Pakistan are ready to offer assistance of any form.
